BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The North West Parks Board is a statutory body established in terms of the provisions of the NWPB Act No. 3 of 2015), to provide for the establishment, management and control of Protected Areas in the North West Province.This institutionis also classified as a Schedule 3C Public Entity, in terms of the Public Finance Management Act. The Board is led by Directors appointed in the terms of section 15 of the North West Parks Board Act serving the role of an Accounting Authority in terms ofthe Public Finance Management Act. The North West Parks Board is a public entity of the Department of DEDECT accountable to the Provincial Legislature. In this regard, the functions, objectives and responsibilities of the North West Parks Board are guided by the North West Parks Board Act No. 3 of 2015), the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No.1 of 1999) as amended, and other related Legislation, Regulations and Rules.
